2014 was marked by the success of the [International Conference on Ecosystem Restoration](https://institut.veolia.acsitefactory.com/en/what-we-do/international-conferences) organized by the Institute at the National Academy of Sciences in Washington D.C. Other key achievements include the signing of a 3-year partnership agreement with the *Agence Française De Développement* (AFD), special issues of [FACTS Reports](https://factsreports.revues.org/) and [S.A.P.I.EN.S](https://sapiens.revues.org/) and outreach [seminars on Haiti](https://institut.veolia.acsitefactory.com/en/what-we-do/workshops-and-seminars/haiti-memories-development) with the Fondation de France, or on [last-mile delivery](https://institut.veolia.acsitefactory.com/en/what-we-do/workshops-and-seminars/last-mile-delivery-and-informal-sector).  
2014 also saw the renewal of two of the team’s five members, with the arrival of [Dinah Louda](https://institut.veolia.acsitefactory.com/en/who-are-we/the-team) as Executive Director and of [Nicolas Renard](https://institut.veolia.acsitefactory.com/en/who-are-we/the-team) as Director of Foresight at the end of the year.
